This year has been a defining one for AI in the workplace, especially for anyone leading that transformation.
Organizations worldwide are moving beyond experimentation with AI and into implementation. Along the way, everyone is discovering that success isn’t about choosing between humans and AI, but about architecting workforces where both thrive together.
From expanding partnerships with industry pioneers to launching breakthrough agentic AI capabilities, this year we’ve focused on one central mission — helping you build a talent advantage with agentic AI that scales with change.
This year’s major milestones include our latest research revealing the critical role of the CHRO-CIO partnership, the introduction of AI Interviewer to transform how you hire by automating the process, and several comprehensive guides to help you scale from AI pilots to enterprise-wide adoption.
Additionally, we deepened our commitment to our talent and business communities through monthly Talent Table webinars, collaborative research with organizations like HBR, and practical insights designed to turn uncertainty into opportunity.
In this roundup of our most impactful content, the common thread is that AI transformation is fundamentally a people challenge — and you are uniquely positioned to lead it. Whether you’re just beginning your AI journey or scaling existing initiatives, we hope these resources help you move forward with the confidence and clarity you need to scale AI alongside human potential.

Our research
The role of the CHRO continues to evolve, and our latest survey, “AI transformation: The new role of the CHRO,” proves that it has never been more critical to organizational success in the age of agentic AI.
This survey revealed a fascinating insight: while eight out of 10 organizations beginning AI journeys view CHROs as playing a small role in transformation, 90% of organizations leading in AI adoption have discovered that a strong CHRO-CIO partnership is essential for success.
An analyst report we released in partnership with Harvard Business Review Analytic Services also supports these findings, demonstrating why talent leaders are critical to success with AI.
And for those who think that general-purpose Large Language Models are just as effective as purpose-built platforms, you will quickly discover the potential pitfalls and risks in this valuable research guide.
From the blog
Agentic AI and AI Interviewer were two of the most read topics on our talent blog this year. We kicked things off with our Chief Product Officer Sachit Kamat discussing how he believes agentic AI will shape the future of recruiting.
Kamat also shared his take on how the power of agentic AI will improve hiring accuracy and automate workflows to drive workforce efficiency. Organizations using agentic AI can reduce time to hire by up to 10x, while significantly cutting hiring costs and progressively improving hiring accuracy as the agents learn from human validation.
To meet these growing demands, we introduced AI Interviewer, a game-changer in interviewing a high volume of candidates quickly. Built on our Workforce Intelligence AI Platform that a third of Fortune 500 companies rely on to guide their talent strategy, AI Interviewer brings even more equity and fairness to the first moments of hiring.
Early use cases show that organizations are reducing time to first interview by up to 90% while improving candidate satisfaction and recruiter productivity.
In our own use case, we’ve used AI Interviewer to meet with more than 3,000 candidates for various roles. Here’s what one candidate had to say about the experience:
“The interaction with the AI was genuinely insightful and unlike any interview I’ve experienced before. The conversation felt smooth and natural. The Focus Mode, where the AI pauses prompting to let you think, was particularly helpful during problem-solving. It made the experience feel calm and supportive rather than rushed. The follow-up questions were also relevant to the discussion and apt.”
Eightfold and Salesforce partnered earlier this year to combine strategic talent management with AI-native solutions to track skills trends and guide targeted development.
Partner content
Our partnerships continue to evolve as we expand our relationships with industry thought leaders on human capital, like The Josh Bersin Company and Deloitte, as we work with them to reshape how we all approach AI adoption and scale with talent.
Earlier this year, we announced an expansion of our agreement with Salesforce, bringing AI talent solutions to Agentforce. This collaboration reflects a shared belief that people must remain at the heart of AI transformation to prepare workforces for what’s next in the era of human-AI collaboration.
Our ongoing work with Deloitte continues to deliver actionable insights for those navigating the evolving world of work. Throughout 2025, we partnered with the consulting firm on a dynamic series of conversations, including this one at our talent summit Cultivate, exploring insights from Deloitte’s 2025 Human Capital Trends report, examining how trends in labor, workforce organization, and culture are reshaping the future.
These discussions provided strategies for applying these trends to elevate human performance, from becoming truly boundaryless in HR operations to creating thriving environments focused on human sustainability rather than just productivity.
Josh Bersin Company research also provided critical guidance this year. Their latest “Pacesetters” research revealed that the top 5-10% of organizations aren’t just adopting AI for efficiency. These companies are using it as a platform for long-term growth, continuous innovation, and better experiences for customers and employees.
Pacesetter organizations demonstrate that real performance gains come not from replacing people, but from enabling them to do their best work through strategic AI adoption and talent intelligence.
In-depth guides
We also created several comprehensive resources to guide decision-makers through this pivotal shift to AI.
Our “Agentic AI in HR guide” explores what true agentic AI is and looks like in action, including the ability for multi-step reasoning, troubleshooting in real time, and making decisions within certain contexts.
We also released “The CHRO-CIO alliance,” a guide that makes the case for a new kind of partnership between people and tech leaders to drive enterprise transformation together.
With research showing that more than 80% of AI projects fail — twice the rate of non-AI IT projects often due to siloed approaches — the guide provides a roadmap for breaking down barriers and building an AI-powered talent strategy to align your entire business.
Finally, our updated “Ultimate buyer’s guide for an agentic talent platform” reflects the latest developments in agentic AI. This comprehensive resource covers the shift to using the latest AI tech to build your skills-based teams, including 10 critical questions to ask vendors about responsible AI, integration, and ROI.
Helen Castor, Director of Talent Intelligence at Softtek, discusses how talent intelligence platforms provide a forward-thinking view into your data.
Talent Table
Our Talent Table webinar series brought together leading voices in talent and tech to tackle today’s most pressing challenges. These roundtables provided a forum for candid conversations, practical insights, and real strategies from practitioners navigating AI changes firsthand.
In “Agentic AI at work: Building an agile, AI-ready enterprise,” we explored how agentic AI is changing how work is done across all areas of the enterprise by examining what HR and IT leaders must do together to enable responsible, enterprise-wide AI adoption.
The conversation covered everything from evolving job roles to approaches for AI-driven personalization, emphasizing the importance of transparency, breaking down silos, and building employee confidence as agentic AI reshapes workflows.
“From instinct to insight: How HR can lead with data” shifted focus to a critical capability for the AI era: data literacy. We discussed the evolution of HR from talent acquisition to talent intelligence, focusing on how moving from reactive analytics to proactive insights enables better workforce planning and faster decision-making. The overall message: you don’t need to be a data scientist, you just need to know how to read the signals to act with confidence.
Rounding out the year, “High-volume hiring: How AI agents are changing the game” tackled one of the toughest workforce challenges: filling critical frontline roles quickly and consistently without sacrificing quality or candidate experience.
The discussion explored how organizations are using AI agents to transform recruiting at scale, moving beyond traditional methods that break down when volume explodes. This conversation delivered practical strategies for industries like retail, logistics, and health care, where understaffing directly impacts operations and bottom-line results.
We hope these assets help you better understand how agentic AI in your talent platform can improve hiring and talent management across the board. See you next year!
