I’m the global future of workforce director at Arcadis. My role is leading our skills organization journey to really prepare ourselves and our people for the future of work.
Arcadis is a leading global design and consultancy firm, and we deliver sustainable solutions across architecture, engineering, science, and consultancy for our clients around their natural and built assets.
So there was multiple reasons that we started on our journey to become a skills-powered organization very much focused around the internal pain points and strategic priorities of our organization. A large part of that was helping our people to understand the possible routes that they, and career paths that they could take, but also helping us as an organization to understand where in the world our skills are and how we can connect current skills – but also new skills as we acquire new organizations quickly connecting that talent and matching that to our client’s current and future needs.
There’s many reasons that for us eightfold were our preferred partner on skills-powered organization journey. The cutting-edge AI technology absolutely stood out from all of their competitors. That real, deep AI-driven talent matching was really critical to us in our decision making.
The end-to-end talent lifecycle management that eightfold were able to offer us was very different to any competitors on the market at the time, and really that depth and breadth of talent intelligence, and that ability for us to really make data driven decisions. And the mindset and behaviors of Eightfold, and that partnership approach is what really stood out to us.
So at Arcadis, we’re embarking on a multi-year, multi-horizon change journey to really ensure that we have skills underpinning all of our people processes around the employee lifecycle. It’s a human centered change program that is enabled by technology and Eightfold are our technology partner in this 3 horizon journey. So we’re rolling out multiple domains within the eightfold platform, connecting them all together to improve the employee experience in order to drive data-driven outputs for our business and for our clients
