Eaton was looking for a way to modernize its talent acquisition process. Since implementing our Talent Intelligence Platform, Eaton’s talent team has made a big impact on the business. Customer satisfaction scores are up, the recruiter experience has improved, and the company is more strategically positioned to win top talent in a highly competitive market.

Eaton is a global power management company. We deliver solutions, through a portfolio of businesses, that serve the aerospace industry, the vehicle industry, as well as electrical infrastructure.

I lead the Global Talent Attraction Center of Excellence for the company, which includes all of the recruiting and selection strategies for the internal and external hiring that we do.

We had a very old technology stack. At the time, we were also in the throes of the great resignation. so just being able to kind of get our fair share of talent was becoming more and more challenging. We were also losing internal talent at a faster rate than we ever had before.

We have 100,000 employees and 165 countries being able to see who they are, where they are, what skills they have. Being able to match that to our business objectives, the skills we need to grow. We had no visibility into any of that.

Being able to sit in front of a partner and have them ask us questions and listen to what our needs are and help us create solutions, that was important. And that’s what Eightfold did from the very beginning.

Insights, data inside of the tool in real time, and being able to use it to, you know, have meaningful business conversations between recruiters and candidates and hiring teams, that’s been a game changer for us.

Our talent network has grown from what was about a million to 4 million today. We’ve seen double digit increases in candidate velocity. We’ve seen improvements to all of the talent acquisition metrics – so time to market, time to present, time to offer. Candidate satisfaction scores have gone up, customer satisfaction scores have gone up, and the experience for our recruiters – the feedback that we get from them has been exceptional.

What we’re here to and to focus on – helping our businesses grow, be more profitable, bring in great talent. At the end of the day, when we’re able to get candidates in faster, we’re able to get them through the interview process faster, we’re able to make better hiring decisions because we have visibility into skills. This gives the business a better quality of hire, faster to productivity, faster results, better business results. So, it’s allowing us to compete in a highly competitive market where Eaton really hadn’t competed. We’re competing against companies now like Google and Amazon and Microsoft in some of the markets that we’re in. So we need to move as fast as they do.
