I want to bring a new way of thinking, integrating technology into talent, and making sure that this brings us the opportunity to be more strategic. I would say that is my mantra.

My name is David Rafael. I’m Chief Talent Officer for the last two years at Softtek.

One of the most important things for me was that before that, I was 28 years in IT operations.

I’ve been able to help my team to evolve, and bring my experience and knowledge to integrate cutting-edge technology. So, it has been a great thing for me, learning things, but also helping my team to thrive on that journey as well.

I would say that for the present, embracing AI is so important. So, as much as we can embrace that, it’s going to be easier to be more enabled to continue working and evolving in the future, and be future-fit for that.

My main purpose, and having the right impact, is with our Softtekians. To give them the chance to identify opportunities to grow, to identify what skills will make them better for the future needs that we might have. And with that, I believe that we need to give them the right tools, the right learning courses, the right tools to help them achieve those goals.

And in the end, that is going to impact their lives. In the end, that should be also impacting the organization. It’s going to give us better opportunities, I hope that is going to create more growth, and finally, it is going to be a win-win for everyone.
