Coca-Cola Europacific Partners (CCEP) introduced Eightfold Talent Management and Career Hub to provide employees with learning and career growth opportunities, and managers and leaders with visibility into their workforce skills and talent.

MAGDA: I am the Talent Management director for Coca-Cola, Europacific Ppartners. My team and I manage the strategy, philosophy, and tools for managing talent in 30 countries and 42,000 employees.

JUDITH: I’m Judith Engels. I am part of CCEP and the Central Talent management team.

MAGDA: So we are the biggest bottler in the Coca-Cola system, and we’re in charge of producing, bottling, manufacturing, selling, and distributing the Coca-Cola portfolio of products over the 30 countries, territories, and markets that we work for.

JUDITH: A couple of years ago we looked for a solution that would help our employees to really see opportunities within CCEP. We chose Eightfold because of a couple of reasons. It was the AI functionality. So the amount of data and the strengths of the AI solution. The second main reason was that we felt Eightfold had a vision around talent management and also learned succession, planning, and workforce planning. So, really, that vision of what it could do going forward.

MAGDA: So since we launched the Career Hub – that’s how we call our platform internally – we’ve had a very huge adoption. We have 70% of the population that is in Europe that has already adopted the tool.

JUDITH: So that is Talent Management, TA Lite. We also have Succession Planning, and we use the Job Intelligence Engine. How we implemented the platform and chose it was all around, ‘What’s in it for the employee?.’ So why, as an employee, would you go into the platform? Why would you come back on a regular basis? I mean, obviously, we had an internal job board and things like that. But there was no platform as an employee where I could go and see all the recommendations for me that were really personalized and matched my experience and my aspirations as well. So it’s now possible for employees to have all of this information in one central platform which makes a huge difference for our people.
