I lead the technologies and transformation office at Fortive. Fortive is a $6 billion company, we have 18,000 employees. We are kind of like a holding company of 20 other companies.

Our employees had a tough time finding jobs and knowing where to go to find jobs. What were their next career moves, what type of skills were needed.

The other challenge was that hiring managers were looking for talent and they couldn’t find talent. It was taking a longer time to fill talent. Economically, the market was also changing.

We knew that we wanted to make a big bet on the future, and Eightfold has been such a great partner in that, and they showed up from day one from our initial meetings looking to understand our business need.

It was really important to have our external and our internal experience to be really similar. And part of it was really how do we attract talent, and then grow them and provide career opportunities for them to have visibility. For us to also to understand what type of skills are needed. And so, we see the power in having TA and TM together – and more data as well.

We changed our operating model, how we service our employees, we changed our overall digital footprint.

We really looked at it as an overall transformation for our employees and candidates to ensure that we deliver a more modern experience.

So, we can see that our recruiter efficiency has doubled, that our internal fill rate is higher by 45%. Speed to hire is also 30%, in regards to our internal hiring.

We see our internal hit rate coming back to our career site 62%, which was our last month. Incredible return rate, that they are seeking, learning and interested in the system and showing the power of it.
