5 ways Eightfold turbo-charges career sites and the candidate experience with Workday (part 3 of 4)

This is the third in a series of posts on augmenting an applicant tracking system like Workday Recruiting with artificial intelligence.

Part one covered sourcing and screening. The next part, candidate engagement. Now, we’re going to take a look at career sites and the candidate experience.

Career site job searches: Dropoff rates are high on career sites. It’s no surprise why: candidates have trouble finding the job that fits them. With Eightfold’s AI-powered career sites, candidates upload a resume or bio. The site presents personalized job recommendations to every candidate. Application rates are higher, as is the volume of diverse and high-potential applications. Postmates, for example, turned to a talent intelligence platform and increased Black, Hispanic, and female applicants sharply, the latter by 91 percent between September 2019 and September 2020.

Career site content: Career sites tend to be generic. Plus, talent teams often have to work through IT to make changes. With AI, candidates see content relevant to them. They’re more engaged, and encouraged to apply for a role. Companies build a positive employer brand that attracts candidates. At AirAsia, for example, the percentage of recruiting website visitors who eventually applied for a position rose 35 percent after adding talent intelligence to its career site. Candidate treatment. Applications for high-volume reqs aren’t followed up on. Candidates are often left wondering what their status is, reflecting badly on the employer.
