Forvia wanted to find the best digital talent and increase sourcing efficiency to accelerate its transition from traditional manufacturer to automotive technology company. Believing in the power of AI, the company implemented Eightfold Talent Acquisition to transform recruiting processes and the entire global organization.
Gael Barjot: I’m a group HR Lab Director at Forvia. My role as part of the global HR team is to run our HR transformations. This year it’s mainly about AI / GenAI, data-driven initiatives, employer brand, and global onboarding.
So, Forvia is the 7th largest automotive technology supplier in the world. We operate in 40 countries. We have 150,000 people in the world.
The key challenges that we are facing at Forvia in terms of talent is mainly to attract people in new jobs, in new capabilities.
Let me take you through 2 examples:
In mass market countries when you just post one single position, sometimes you will receive thousands of applications. This is very complex, just for one single worker to deal with those applications. So thanks to AI, we are able to screen these applications automatically. We are able, as well, to do predictive matching and to find the right profile for the right job.
So in those countries where our preference is not well positioned, we were looking for a solution that will help us to boost our attractiveness, to boost the visibility of our offer, and to be able to find the right candidates in our previous applicants.
We use Eightfold to do the predictive matching. We use Eightfold to find the right talent for the right position – for the CRM, for the marketing campaigns, to highlight, to boost visibility and the attractiveness of our people. This is mainly for talent acquisition.
Thanks to everything that we did with Eightfold, we’ve been able to reboost the career site and to triple the traffic on our career site – which means we’ve been able not only to attract people, we’ve been able to invite them to convert and to apply, which is a deep achievement for us.
